Other things to note
This is the desert so it can be pretty dusty at times. Bring sunscreen and drink lots of water in summer.
If going to Death Valley I recommend filling your gas tank before you get there, the Alien gas station is much cheaper than you will find in the park. Bring lots of water.

Misty is very responsive.
We were lucky enough to be able to book this place. It is one of the closest spots to Death Valley (55mins to Furnace Creek) and was completely worth it. Clean, fully equipped and offers breathtaking views of the night sky.
Great stay! Highly recommend the place and the hosts!
The view is absolutely fabulous! Misty is a very organized and thoughtful host. She even had single-use toothbrushes and toothpaste stocked. The space is very comfortable and we were happy to unwind there after being in Death Valley all day.
Beautiful place set off on its own along with 2 other little homes. Peaceful, quiet area. About an hour to the National Park, but not too bad. Great for stargazing!
Stunning view of the Funeral Mountains. We hiked into California/Death Valley right from our back porch. Lots of wildlife. Misty and Marcus were responsive, helpful and friendly.
I couldn't make the trip because of a back problem, but my wife and her enjoyed their stay there very much. The house was clean and as described. Misty and Marcus were very friendly and responsible with their needs. Very good hosts. I wish I were there too because my love for astrophotography would find the place very much home. maybe next time. I highly recommend this place if your interests are visiting DV NP and getting away from the bustle and hustle of the city.
The place is very comfortable. The host is very responsive to our need. This is a great deal and we enjoy it!
Has a fully stocked coffee bar and seasoning shelf including ziplock bags, parchment paper, paper plates and to go containers. But wish we had the instructions for the telescope. The last road to turn before Falcon is Ranch and unpaved- but pretty short stretch and not too rocky. Google map worked all the way. The bag yard is right up to the mountain range and the stars that you can view from the property are amazing!
Awesome spot to stay outside Death Valley NP.
We were there for Death Valley National Park and had a great Stay!
Stayed here with a group of friends as our Death Valley base camp. We loved our stay - it's the perfect place to come back to after a day in the park. Very clean, which is impressive for being in such a dusty area. Spent some beautiful peaceful mornings looking out at the mountains from the back patio, and very nice evenings sitting around the fire, grilling, and playing shuffleboard. Can't recommend enough.
Place was perfect for us as it was close enough to Death Valley National Park, kitchen was fully loaded beds were comfy view off the deck was amazing and owners were very easy to work with
Great place easy check in & out perfect view.
The location was beautiful. We wish there had been an extra propane tank because the one attached lasted about 15 minutes the first night and then it was too cool to sit outside after dark. We also needed a grill scrapper.
